1. Virgo- Elena Backpack

Since it is officially the start of Virgo season, I wanted to kick start this post with my pick for a lovely Virgo lady- the Elena Backpack. Virgos are known for their attention to detail, which correlates perfectly with Elena’s decorative tassel and gold-tone hardware. There are plenty of pockets in this bag to keep a Virgo organized (my favorite is the back slip pocket). Striving for perfection, Virgos will fall in love with this structured, timeless style. Next, we have a best-selling pick for the lovely Libras- the Indigo Backpack. Here are my Top 5 Summer Handbags for 2021! As most of you know, we are having a huge end of summer sale starting August 2nd. And if you didn't know, the sale is going to be 25% off all summer bags, all apparel, and all accessories! Personally, I know I'm going to get a bunch of scrunchies (because you can never have too many) and the Athena Tote! I think it's such a beautiful yet roomie bag, and could be styled with any fall/winter outfit. Perfect for those colder days when I want to get some work done on my iPad at my local coffee shop.

Anyways, now that the summer season is almost coming to a close (wow, it flew by so quickly!), I wanted to talk about my top favorite summer bags from this season!

1. Deedra Net Bag

One of my favorite bags was the Deedra Net Bag. I don't know about you, but the macrame trend is one that will continue to live on for me, for many summers to come. I loved wearing my macrame bag this summer because it was lightweight, stylish, and surprisingly versatile. I used Deedra for going to the farmer's market, picnics, the beach, brunch with my girlfriends, and the pool. It is such a cute and effortless accessory for any summer look.

2. Valentina Shoulder Bag

Valentina is one of our most trendy styles, and definitely a bag I will continue to wear throughout the rest of the year! Throughout this season, I made it my number one priority to live life to the fullest (because 2020 was a thing). So I brought Valentina to a lot of my little adventures. As an Altanta local, I went out to a lot of restaurants, shopping districts, and clubs. Valentina was the perfect companion! She immediately elevated my look, even if I was wearing a simple dress with tennis shoes. I felt so cute and so trendy. I can't wait for the sale because I will definitely be getting Valentina in Sand! I have so many beige outfits for the fall that I'm so excited to pair with Valentina!

3. Athena Tote

Okay, so I know I mentioned this earlier but it deserves more love. The Athena Tote is so great because it's timeless, roomie, and oh-so cute. I am in love with the woven detail and the soft, vegan leather. I think if you get the Athena Tote, you can't go wrong with the color you choose. She comes in brown, willow, and warm grey, all fairly neutral colors to pair with any outfit. This is definitely my everyday bag and I will be carrying her with me into the fall!

4. Autumn Crossbody

As someone who works in the fashion industry, I am always on the prowl for specialty pieces to add to my wardrobe. This summer, the Autumn Crossbody was my specialty piece. It was love-at-first-sight because I am a big fan of the straw-like material. I think the natural gold goes well if everything, and it adds a softer, organic look to your outfit. I am also a huge advocate for a good crossbody bag. I went to a few concerts and beach trips this summer which all required a lot of walking and multiple summer outfits, and the Autumn Crossbody was perfect for every single outfit.

5. Nixie Satchel

One of my favorite looks this summer was this modern, boho chic vibe. For this look, I would sport the "no makeup" makeup look. The idea behind it is to look like a natural beauty. So, I thought Nixie Satchel was the best pick for that natural aesthetic. Nixie was definitely one of my specialty pieces that I would plan around my more fun and fashionable outfits. When I went shopping or had brunch with the girls, I loved bringing along Nixie. I would just throw in my wallet, sunglasses, sunscreen, perfume, and sometimes a book if I was wanted to get some work done at my local smoothie place. She has a good amount of room for a satchel which made her my more reliable accessory, and I ended up wearing Nixie a lot more than I originally thought I would! She is super cute, lightweight, and one of my favorite summer bags!

To start off with a bang, I’d like to direct your attention to our best-selling bag season after season, the Riley Crossbody. At $32, you can get a crossbody, a wristlet, and clutch all in one. It comes in all the colors of the rainbow, plus more! In addition to a plethora of solid colors, the Riley bag comes in lots of prints, such as animal and plaid prints. The Riley Crossbody has two main compartments to keep your stuff organized. The middle compartment features cardholders, so you don’t need to have a wallet with this bag. I'd consider the Riley Crossbody my ride-or-die purse since it has never failed me.

2. Shira Macrame Bag 

The Shira Macrame Bag is the perfect final touch to any chic summer outfit. This bag comes with a removable canvas bag to store your belongings in. So not only do you get a cute macrame purse, but an adorable cheetah printed pouch as well. This bag also has braided handles that help make the bag comfier to hold. The Shira Macrame bag comes in Ivory and Light Stone. For $50, you can add the Shira Macrame Bag to complete your beach trip looks.

3. Bridget Backpack

For all my backpack lovers, let me introduce you to our Bridget Backpack. This backpack is ideal for a girl on the go. It is an adorable size that fits all the necessities. The monogrammable Bridget Backpack offers adjustable straps and a front zip pocket. Every color in this style except the Leopard-Pink color is made with our vegan leather. The Leopard-Pink color is made with faux fur and features vegan leather accents. This piece is also perfect for people who want to try out carrying a backpack as an everyday bag since it’s $45.

4. Dani Cell Phone Bag

For anyone like me who is constantly on their phone, a bag like Dani Cell Phone Bag allows you to use your phone without taking it out of your bag is a must-have item. The Dani Cellphone has a clear back that allows you to use your smartphone easily.  This envelope-style crossbody features an adjustable crossbody strap, wristlet strap, and snap closure. This $42 bag comes in a multitude of colors and prints. Another standout feature of the Dani Cell Phone Bag is that it is RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification Protection) safe. I think the Dani Cell Phone Bag would be perfect to use for a concert so you can get quick access to your smartphone without having to take it out of your bag.

5. Sarah Clutch

Last but certainly not least, I cannot recommend the Sarah Clutch enough. If you are a lover of the Riley or Kendall Crossbody, you will fall in love with the Sarah Clutch. It is similar to the Kendall or Riley in the sense that it includes a removable wristlet and crossbody strap, but it has more room. One of my favorite parts of this bag is that the top zipper locks with a snap. The Sarah Clutch also comes in a distressed option. This bag is the perfect clutch for a more sophisticated, high-end look at a budget-friendly price of $45.

Ever find yourself craving new sceneries, sidewalks, views and overall vibes? Well, let me tell ya… I 100% do. I constantly need to change it up to keep my life full of inspiration and those creative juices flowing! 

Sadie and I recently took a day trip to Westside Provisions District in Atlanta, Georgia to shoot content while allowing ourselves a break from sitting in the same office everyday (you deserve a break, ladies - don’t be afraid to take it when you need it.) While we were there making fresh content for our social pages, we were able to explore the Westside Provisions District and all it has to offer. I realized how important it is to have the perfect bag with you on day trips as these usually consist of walking long distances. So, I wanted to share with all of you my top four bags for going on day trips.

1. Coralia Mini Bag

Let’s go over the scene in this image. Sadie and I saw this area and initially thought it had the cutest little bench offering us the best background of the iconic bridge you see all over instagram. This bench is a part of a restaurant and bar called JCT Kitchen & Bar which basically means you can go here to have a meal or to grab some drinks with friends and enjoy the atmosphere they have created. As we sat here for a few minutes enjoying the scenery, I was thinking about how much fun it would be to come back to this restaurant on a beautiful sunny Saturday, grab a lobster roll and stay as long as possible enjoying the fun drinks they offer with friends. Who doesn’t love a Saturday full of day drinking with your favorite people?

So, what does this have to do with a bag? Well, I personally do not love the idea of having to keep up with a bag whenever I am out with friends, so I found the perfect solution to this problem that I am sure many of you deal with too! Our Coralia Mini Neoprene bag is the perfect addition to your day trip as it is a washing machine safe handbag! How perfect is that? You do not have to worry about this neoprene bag getting dirty from being outside all day, drinks spilling on it or even accidentally dirtying it up by dropping it on the ground. Amazing! I personally enjoy the size of the Coralia, but if you feel like you need more room - we do have the Jolee Neoprene Crossbody and the Meribella Neoprene Tote which are both also washing machine safe. This makes it so easy to keep your bag a safe distance from you so you can enjoy your time with friends and not worry about bringing home a messy bag when it’s time to go.

2. Alexa Hobo

Okay ladies, let’s talk about brunch. Westside Provisions does not disappoint with their brunch selection, they have multiple coffee shops and a few different brunch options. My favorite is the West Egg Cafe - yumm! If you have not heard of this quaint little spot, you are missing out and I hope you get to enjoy it ASAP. If not for the food, for the coffee… which is just as, if not more, important than the food (who agrees?) Pro tip: order from their monthly drink specials - you will thank me later! Brunch in Atlanta makes me feel as if I am walking down Madison Avenue with Carrie Bradshaw heading to Magnolia Bakery.

Let’s be honest, Sunday Brunch is mostly about showing off that one outfit you have had in your closet for some time now, and what makes an outfit more elevated than a perfectly matched handbag? My pick would be the Alexa Hobo bag. Why? Because it is the perfect size for your car keys, wallet, sunglasses, hairbrush and makeup - all of the necessities for the perfect brunch. Alexa has more than enough room for all of your items as well as a concealed carry option if that is something that interests you. 

3. Marina Crossbody

We have gone over where to get drinks and brunch with the girls, now let me introduce you to one of the best, quick lunch options you will find in Atlanta. If you have been to Taqueria Del Sol, you know what a good choice this is, and if you have not, you 100% need to make plans this weekend to check it out. Everything on the menu is amazing but let me tell you my favorites. To preface this, I went to the University of Georgia and lived in downtown Athens where a Taqueria Del Sol (or “Taq” as my friends and I would call it) was walking distance from my apartment. So, I have pretty much had everything on the menu. First things first: the house margarita on the rocks always with a salt rim… to die for! This is one of the best margs I have ever had. You can’t go to Taq without getting one - it’s just not the same experience! Another must have is the salsa trio - I have no words… you just have to get it, trust me. My favorite entree choices are the fish taco and the Memphis taco - AMAZING.

This is a pretty casual, quick restaurant option and I personally think an easy-to-carry bag is the way to go. The Marina Crossbody is one of my favorite bags we offer because you can wear it as a crossbody or a shoulder bag, and it is the perfect size for your phone, wallet and car keys. I love a bag that fits just what I need and doesn’t take up too much space. Marina also features a detachable coin pouch which is key if you are a “pay with cash” gal like me! And most importantly, you need a hand free bag to be able to carry that pitcher of margs back to your table (lol!) 

4. Colbie Macrame Bucket Bag

Westside Provisions offers SO much great shopping whether that is clothes, furniture or art. If you are coming to this district for shopping, you will be moving around a lot. My favorite places to shop in Westside are Anthropology, Free People and Lululemon. While shopping, I prefer a small bucket bag to hold my phone and wallet - that is all I need to shop! The Colbie Macrame Bucket bag is a great option for my style of shopping while staying on trend with summer fashion. Macrame bags are hugely popular for serving those summertime looks. Hi lovelies!! My name is Sadie and I am a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Rajaampat liveaboards! I take care of all things branding like photography and graphic design. I absolutely love my job and getting to work alongside my work bestie, Kristina. She and I are always up to fun shenanigans in and out of the office.

So, a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Texas, but recently moved to Atlanta to start my career at Rajaampat liveaboards. I am also engaged to be married and the big day is only 4 months away!! I am so excited. My favorite part about living in Atlanta so far is the coffee! There are so many coffee shops here that I already love. My favorite one is The Dancing Goat so you will find me there almost every day.
